Hospital Transport Services was formed in 1986 in response to the ever growing need for the transport of human donor organs and blood samples from hospitals, laboratories and tissue banks.
The company was started by vic reeves (managing Director), who at the time of starting the company was employed as a firefighter and was given the opportunity to carry out a delivery for UK Transplant (Bristol). |

From that moment the company was formed and since
then we have been carrying out work for Hospitals,
Hospital Transplant Teams, Laboratories and Tissue
Banks.
We are based in Rotherham (South Yorkshire), and our premises are very close to the M1, A1 and M18 motorways which makes it very easy for the company to respond
to any requirement(s) you may need.
We operate a 24 hour / 7 days a week call out service and can be mobilised within minutes if the need arises.
Our staff are all ex services and are qualified to Emergency
Blue Light Standard. |

All vehicles are fitted with satellite navigation, telephones and are fully fitted with blue lights for emergency use if required. |

We can also provide a unique service using a Honda Pan European 1100cc motorcycle to pick up blood and tissue samples.
The motorcycle is ideal for small packages and can flow through heavy traffic and be at the destination quicker than a car.
